

Oil-Free Granola

Ingredients
Granola
- 1 cup rolled oats organic
- ½ cup walnuts pieces
- ½ cup pecans pieces
- ½ cup almonds whole
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup dried apples chopped
- ½ tsp cinnamon optional
Sauce
- ½ cup deglet dates
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup hot water
Topping
- 2 tbsp my homemade yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F
Granola
- Add all granola ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir well.
Sauce
- Add the dates to a bowl and pour over the hot water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Add sauce ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour sauce over the granola and stir until everything is well coated.
- Spread granola onto a parchment lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
- Stir gently and place back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Repeat 2 more times for a total of 40 minutes.
- Keep in an airtight container for up to a month.

This granola and your yogurt recipe are so delicious. This is a welcome addition to my breakfast routine. The only problem is that I cannot stop snacking on the granola! Thank you Jill for these yummy recipes!!
This is a really good granola. The only change I would do is to add the raisins after the cooking process in order to keep the raisins plump and juicy.
I did not measure a single thing, and it turned out great! I am so impressed! I also threw whatever I had in there (sesame seeds, flax seeds, dried cranberries) and 10/10. Would make this again.
