Right in time for spring, here is a super quick and easy Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing recipe. It is light and tangy with a hint of sweetness that is perfect for just about any salad. It also works really well as a pourable dressing for steamed veggies or as a dipping sauce for potato wedges. It will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

What does the posted picture look nice and white but not mine? Dates turn it brown.

Not sure why but I’m sure it tastes great.

Mine is a bit brown too, and I didn’t use as much water, I like a thicker dressing. I used my Ninja blender (it makes real smooth smoothies). But gosh, that dressing is yummy. I had thought I’d be adding spices like garlic powder and fresh black pepper, but I might just leave it as is.

My dressing was too thin! Maybe will use 3/4 cup of water next time. Anyone else had this same experience?

It usually starts out thin and as it sits it gets a bit thicker

Mine was thin too. Followed recipe exactly. It did not thicken up, but separated in the refrigerator. I used my vitamix and always get good results.

What tahini do you use? We are looking for a good brand. We tried to make our own raw and it wasn’t easy or good.

I buy mine from Trader Joe’s. It’s their brand

Would the recipe work if you use sesame seeds instead of tahini ? And if so, do you know how much of the sesame seeds to use in place of the tahini ?

I think it would but haven’t tried it. My guess would be about 3-4 Tbsp of sesame seeds.

We dressed our roasted vegetables (potatoes, onions, red pepper and asparagus) for dinner tonight with this dressing and it was delicious! Thanks for sharing.
