Plant-Based No Tuna Casserole

Jill Dalton
Ditch the tin and the "fishy" aftertaste for this version of Plant-Based Tuna Casserole that actually tastes fresh. This upgrade swaps heavy canned scents for umami-rich, whole-food ingredients that perfectly mimic that classic texture and flavor.
You get all the creamy, noodle-packed comfort of the original, but with a cleaner flavor and a much crispier finish, making it the ultimate high-protein vegan comfort meal.

I can’t eat onions and garlic, are they essential for the recipe? Are there any suitable options for this and any other recipes calling for onions and garlic, thanks!

  2. Do you have an estimate on how much it would cost to make this? I see several ingredients that I don’t use and would have to buy specific for this dish.

Also, there is very little contrast between the background and text, making it difficult for post cataract surgery eyes to read. When I switch to Reading Mode, the page renders with only the instructions, no ingredients. Your website will not convert to dark mode so I can read it.

This was really good. My 80 year old parents thought it was great and authentic to the “SOS” they used to eat. I didn’t bother adding the pasta and it was great as is. My husband can’t eat onion or garlic so I use FODMAP friendly powdered onion and garlic- there are quite a few kinds on Amazon.
