Equipment

Ingredients

Eggnog

Eggnog Ice Cream

  • 1 ½ cups my eggnog
  • 1 banana very ripe

Instructions

Eggnog

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until dates are completely pulverized.
  • Optional: You can strain through a sieve to filter out any remaining date chunks

Eggnog Ice Cream

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a Ninja Creami cup and freeze for at least 8 hours.
  • Spin in the Ninja Creami Machine on the lite setting for 2 cycles.

Notes

Nutritional information is not accurate because it is calculating both the eggnog and the ice cream.
If you don’t have an Ninja Creami machine, you can use a regular ice cream maker but you will need to double the recipe to have enough volume to run in a regular ice cream machine.

I LOVE the eggnog! Thank you so much for this delicious Christmas time recipe. It is definitely adding a nice touch to our cookie baking time together.
    * I think that you meant to add the banana under the eggnog ingredients instead of the ice cream ingredients. I love the banana in the eggnog. 🙂
Thanks again for making our Christmas a little Merrier!

    1. You can put the banana in the eggnog as well if you like but it was meant for the ice cream because it helps the ice cream hold up into a nice thick ice cream.

I love all your ice cream recipes. I remember eating a carob Haagen Dazs ice cream many years ago. Would you recommend subbing carob for the cocoa in your chocolate ice cream? Or maybe you’d like to create another ice cream recipe for your fans?

I love these creami recipes and especially the butter pecan, which is amazing! I usually use medjool dates instead of the deglet . Is 1/3 cup deglet dates, equal to 2 medjool? Thank you Jill!

Love this! And your other ice creams aswell. I really hope there will be more plant based ice cream recipies in the future, as they are the BEST ONES I could find on the web. And I’ve tried many. All the other ones seemed quite unbalanced, had textural or taste issues. Jill, you really made plant based living much more enjoyable and – at the same time – much more healthy for my whole family. Thanks a lot for all the effort!
