Thank you so much! I just got my Ninja Creami 3 days ago.
It’s really a game changer and makes sticking to a whole food plant based diet easier, particularly during the hot summer months.
I’ll be trying out these recipes in the weeks to come.
Thanks again

A traditional ice cream machine should work also but the super dense creamy texture is really only produced by this Creami machine. It is a unique appliance unlike anything else we have found and truly makes the texture of Haagen Dazs! The books are being printed and we are expecting them to arrive in the warehouse in late June to start shipping out to everyone. Thank you for pre-ordering all the way from the UK!

Jill, your Creami ice creams are the best! and the simplest! I loved last week’s. Can’t wait to try your butter pecan as it is one of my faves. Gotta run to the store for plant milk today. Would love to see a Pralines and Cream type ice cream.
Thank you so, so much!

If I don’t have the machine then how could I make these ice creams?

Thank you for any ideas…

I have a ninja duo and use the smoothie bowl setting I usually don’t let it go the full time. comes out great and I’ll put it on the freezer for about 40 minds to firm up Works in a blender to just don’t let it whip too long and then freeze for a bit

I have the Ninja Creamy Deluxe (think that was what it was called) it has the bigger containers. So with your last ice cream recipe, I put the servings to 6 instead of 4 and printed out the recipe. It worked out perfectly! Just thought I would share! Can’t wait to try these recipes now!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ninja Creami! I’ve been playing around with it for about a month, and it is such a game changer(especially for those of us with a serious sweet tooth while trying to maintain a WFPB lifestyle). Thank you for creating fabulous WFPB Ninja Creami ice cream recipes — can’t wait to add these to my repertoire!

Fortunately, my mother buys a lot of gadgets from QVC and had a brand new ice cream maker from Cook’s essential that did the job perfectly! It’s only $50 for the model which makes pint size containers and then they have an upgraded version that makes quarts for about 100 bucks. There is a small drawback and that is that it’s not the easiest to clean. Still, it makes ice cream within 40 minutes to an hour and a half and the price tag is a lot better than $200 for the Ninja.

I make these all the time in my nutribullet and enjoy them with an “ice milk” like texture. I just pour it in a metal bread pan (or could use pie pan) and freeze it. The depth is less than 1/2 inch. During the freezing process (a few hours) I stir it a few times. I cut it in small chunks and put in in a bowl and when it softens I will sometimes stir in additions of nuts or fruit. It is very satisfying like an ice cream. I also cut into chunks or start by pouring into ice cube trays in order to put it through my omega juicer. It has a cone for processing frozen fruits into sorbets. Usually I’m too lazy to use the Omega and it tastes just fine straight from the freezer.

Approximately how much banana, e.g., cups or by weight? I’m 79 and don’t drive any more, so my groceries are ordered online and delivered to my home. It’s always a surprise to see what size bananas the store sends! The last ones were the largest I’ve ever seen, but the previous order almost looked like “seven dwarves” size.
Thanks!

I don’t care for bananas, what would you recommend, not sure is the banana is only for sweetness or texture as well.

I’ve made the Butter Pecan – YUM – and used the basic formula of this and the chocolate recipe to create a Nutella ice cream, here’s the ingredients if anyone else would like to try it, it was deliciously decadent!
Chocolate Hazelnut Ninja Creami recipe:
1 banana, ripe
10 deglet dates, or 5 medjool dates
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
0.5 cup hazelnuts, toasted & divided in half
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup soy milk, unsweetened, or plant based milk of your choice
