Hi. I recently stumbled across your YTVs. I have been having unbelievable gastrointestinal problems for almost a year now and no OTC remedy is helping without seriously uncomfortable side effects
. Raw fruits and veggies seem to be what is aggravating me. Or so I think, I thought. I stopped all gluten about 3 weeks ago. I started taking a probiotic. Since watching your YTVs I have stopped all animal products except fish. I had my gallbladder removed 11 years ago, so I stopped dairy products then . Yesterday I started drinking freshly prepared celery juice. I have an appointment with Allergist this week to find out if I have any food allergies. Dietician has me trying one new food at a time. This is a tiresome process.
I just love your cooking show! I’ve always enjoyed fruits , veggies, legumes, whole starch products. With no gallbladder there are certain veggies I have to avoid, along with spices, and eat small amountsof natural fat daily. I absolutely love to see you enjoy eating what you have just prepared!
I am wondering if improvement in the efficiency of the colon is a positive outcome from this whole food plant based way of eating?

Hello Suzanne, Yes, this way of eating greatly improves the function of your colon. All of the fiber from the fruits and vegetables is like a power washer for your intestines and colon. It also heals the lining of the intestines and the colon which usually becomes damaged from eating a SAD American diet.
Good luck on your journey. I hope eating this way greatly improves your quality of life =)
