First Live Cooking Class Report

I wanted to take a moment to share with you our experience with our first Live Cooking Class. If you didn’t already know we held our first Live Cooking Class at a local Vegan Restaurant in Apex, NC ; the Vegan Community Kitchen. It was a huge success and we had a great time. The menu was : Massaged Kale Salad, Creamy Chickpea Curry and Mango Sorbet.

My two daughters and a good friend of ours helped to hand out samples of the food while I was cooking and everyone received printouts of the recipes so that they could follow along while I cooked. Questions and discussions were going on throughout the evening and at the end we held a raffle for one of my favorite kitchen gadgets; a lemon juicer. Participants also left with a free download of our Cookbook!

It was a wonderful experience for us and it gave us much more confidence and encouragement to continue with more live classes. Stay tuned for the announcement of the next class and I hope to see some of you there!
