For years, I have made it my mission to ask if anything in the beautiful glass case was Vegan, when visiting Starbucks, only to be let down every time by one of their employees saying ” I think the whole grain bagel is”. The dry bagel. Not even a condiment to spread on it. Sad, just sad. There might be something in the stack of packaged goods like a bag of potato chips, but nothing in the beautifully arranged and mouthwatering display of pastries and cakes.
Mind you, I do enjoy their coffee but every once in a while I would like to sit with a friend and enjoy a sweet treat with my coffee. Who wouldn’t right?
Well, today while skimming my instagram feed I saw the notification that Starbucks was going to start carrying a Plant Based line of food! I was ecstatic! They didn’t say if this was going to be country wide/ worldwide or only at certain locations so I am eagerly awaiting this change.

Thank you for the info, will be looking for more news on this.
This is great news because there nothing I can really eat there anymore with my dietary regimen.
To be honest tho, all grocery stores, restaurants and cafes have to get on the plant based bandwagon, otherwise they will lose massive profits. And they know that.
So, it’s either they grow with customer demand or lose money.
At least people will have healthy food to eat while drinking high calorie filled coffee.
Have you seen Chef Yana videos on how to use banana peels as a meat substitute very interesting.
