Snacking on a Whole Food Plant Based Diet

by Jill Dalton

When it comes to snacking, Dr. Fuhrman, in his book Eat to Live, suggests little to no snacking in between meals. Your body needs to go through a detoxification and healing process in between the times of digestion for optimal health. If you really must snack, keep it simple. Some things you can snack on are fruit and nuts, veggies with hummus, or a Laura Bar ( the ones with minimal ingredients ).

I would say, start with a couple recipes that sound good and try them. The rest of your daily food could stay simple like salads and fresh fruit and nuts.
It does get easier once you find some recipes that you like. 🤗
