Snacking on a Whole Food Plant Based Diet

When it comes to snacking, Dr. Fuhrman, in his book Eat to Live, suggests little to no snacking in between meals. Your body needs to go through a detoxification and healing process in between the times of digestion for optimal health. If you really must snack, keep it simple. Some things you can snack on are fruit and nuts, veggies with hummus, or a Laura Bar ( the ones with minimal ingredients ).

  1. Hi . Am finding it hard to start plant based food. I guess there is so much to think about, and specially what to cook. I am watching your videos to get some inspiration . maybe you can help me in some small way. love your food you do.You look fantastic by the way .

    1. I would say, start with a couple recipes that sound good and try them. The rest of your daily food could stay simple like salads and fresh fruit and nuts.
It does get easier once you find some recipes that you like. ?
