Ingredients
 
 

“Taco meat”

Pico de Gallo

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 small red onions chopped
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juice

Cheese Sauce

Sprinkle for chips

Additional Ingredients

  • First mix Cheese Sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  • Next crumble tofu onto a baking tray or pan lined with baking paper.
  • Mix together “Taco Meat” spices and sprinkle on the tofu.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
  • Next cut the tortillas into chip shapes and spread them onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Stir together the ingredients for the Sprinkle for chips.
  • Spritz chips with Braggs liquid amino acids or lime juice and then sprinkle with spice mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 min.
  • Watch carefully so they don’t burn.
  • Mix together the ingredients for the Pico de Gallo.
  • Now you can assemble.
  • Spread chips onto a serving dish and layer the rest of the toppings.

    1. It is called Braggs liquid amino acids. Most grocery stores Cary it now or you can order online. It tastes similar to soy sauce but has 1/10 the Sodium

    1. I don’t have a recipe yet but we normally chop up mushrooms and onion super small and season like taco meat?

  1. I was just wondering what the purpose of the raisins was in the cheese sauce. Also, would this cheese sauce be good on pasta?

    1. The raisins are to give a slight sweetness. I think this sauce tastes good on just about everything. Wait till you taste it. You’ll see?
