It is summer here in the states so what could be better than a refreshing bowl of Plant Based Vegan Cherry Walnut Frozen Yogurt. The tartness of the cherries is perfectly balanced by the richness of the yogurt and the toasted flavor of the walnuts. This recipe is free of unnecessary refined sugar, oil, or fillers that the store bought versions have so you can eat until your heart (and belly) is content.

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients except for the toppings into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • If you would like a more firm frozen yogurt then pour this mixture into an ice cream maker and run for the time specified with your model of ice cream maker.
  • Add the toppings to the last couple of minutes in your ice cream maker just to incorporate or sprinkle on top of the original soft serve.
