Cinnamon Rolls are one of my absolute favorite baked good treats but they are usually made with loads of butter, refined sugars and flours. This Plant Based oatmeal recipe tastes just like those same Cinnamon Rolls but they are absolutely good for you! You will feel like you are cheating for sure. This recipe will help you get through the oatmeal for breakfast doldrums and it will keep you full and satisfied till lunch.

Ingredients

Oatmeal

Topping sauce

Instructions

  • Mix the topping ingredients in a blender except for the pecans.
  • Mix the water, dates, cinnamon and vanilla together for the oatmeal in a blender and pour into a saucepan with the oats.
  • Cook oats until desired consistency ( about 5 minutes )
  • Pour topping sauce on top of the oatmeal and garnish with pecans.

Notes

Use half of the frosting for 1 serving and save the other half for the next time you make it.
