Mexican Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened plant milk of your choice
1 date
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
sprinkle of cayenne or chili powder and cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place plant milk, date, cocoa, and vanilla in blender and blend until there are no date chunks
  2. Pour into a saucepan through a sieve to remove any remaining date chunks
  3. Heat until desired temperature
  4. Pour into a cup
  5. sprinkle on the cayenne and cinnamon
