Sweet Potato Dog Treats
Your dog is going to jump for joy over these Sweet Potato dog treats. These treats are good for any dog especially one that has allergy issues to grain. Most dog treats are made with grain and a number of other allergy causing ingredients. You don’t have to worry about these treats because they are just dried sweet potatoes. Super easy to make and completely safe for your pet.

Instructions
- Mandolin slice the sweet potatoes
- Place on dehydrator trays with the plastic mesh sheet on top
- Dehydrate on 135° for about 6 hours or until super crispy
- Store in an airtight container

Yes, I would try 200°F but watch them carefully so that they don’t burn.
How long in a 200F oven? Also I have an air fryer w/ a dehydrator, 200F.
Hello Kay, I can’t say for certain. Every sweet potato has a different water content and the thickness of the “chips” is also difficult to pinpoint on how long it will take. I would say to start by checking them at 30 minute intervals in the 200° oven. 200° Dehydrator, maybe 3 hours.
