My Blendtec blender is the appliance that gets used most in our household, probably about 10 times a day. I am super happy with it mostly for the silent case. These big powerful blenders are VERY noisy so the silent case really helps. It has blunt blades which makes it much safer to clean and it doesn’t chew up your spatula.
The Nutribullet is the second most used appliance in our home. My kids love to make personal smoothies and we also use it to make salad dressings and sauces. It is super easy to clean. Also, it is very affordable if you can’t afford a bigger blender. It is just as powerful as a regular sized blender.
I also enjoy using my Crockpot. It is really convenient to put either beans or soup ingredients in, turn on the timer and leave for the day. Having dinner ready when you get home is great when you are limited on time!
The spiralizer is just plain fun. It helps when you start having salad boredom . It allows you to use other vegetables that you would otherwise have to cook.
AND last but not least you need a quality knife. I have gone through so many knives because I wasn’t willing to spend more than $10. Studies also show that it is safer to have a quality sharp knife because you are less likely to cut yourself. When your knife is dull you press down harder which makes it easier for your fruits or veggies to slip and you end up cutting your fingers. It is also proven that cutting onions with a really sharp knife makes your eyes water less because you are not mashing the cell walls of the onion which is what releases the gas that makes your eyes water!
